How to Play - Golf

Golf is simple game just get the ball down the hole in the fewest shots. Here is how you can hit the ball:

The MASTER SHOT swatch

This is the MASTER SHOT swatch that is composed of the following individual SWATCHES.

Some features are only available depending on the skill level selected.

The individual SWATCHES

echo foxtrot golf Surface swatch

The SURFACE swatch shows what surface the ball is currently lying on

echo foxtrot golf Caddy Swatch

The CADDY swatch shows what club is currently selected from:

  • D-1-2 Woods
  • 3-4-5-6-7-8-9 Irons
  • P-S-T Wedges

Clicking on the CLUB swatch rotates through the clubs.

echo foxtrot golf Auto Aim Swatch

The AUTO AIM swatch shows what skill level is currently selected

Clicking on the AUTO AIM swatch automatically aims the club towards the flag. This does not take account of any obstacles.

echo foxtrot golf Manual Aim Swatch

The MANUAL AIM swatch shows where the club is currently aimed.

Clicking on the MANUAL AIM swatch aims the club in the respective direction.

echo foxtrot golf Up Stroke swatch

The UPStrOKE swatch may contain:

  • The OVERDRIVE swatch (top) for selecting the degree of overdrive
  • The SPIN swatch (bottom) for selecting the degree BACK and top spin.

This is dependent of the skill level selected.

The DOWNStrOKE swatch may contain:

  • The CLIP swatch for selecting the degree of PUSH and DRAW
  • The CLIP swatch for selecting the degree of HOOK or SLICE

This is dependent of the skill level selected.

The Skill Levels

There are 5 skill levels that allow more control and power over your shot. Clicking after the red region causes a foul stroke.

  1. Click to start the upstroke
  2. Click on the upstroke to select the POWER level of the shot
  3. The downstroke is automatic
echo foxtrot golf Yellow - Tribble
  1. Click to start the upstroke
  2. Click on the upstroke to select the POWER level of the shot. Clicking in the red region adds OVERDRIVE
  3. The downstroke is automatic
echo foxtrot golf Green - Tomcat
  1. Click to start the upstroke
  2. Click on the upstroke to select the POWER level of the shot. Clicking in the red region adds OVERDRIVE
  3. Click on the downstroke in the CLIP region to finesse the shot.

  1. Click to start the upstroke
  2. Click on the upstroke to select the POWER level of the shot. Clicking in the red region adds OVERDRIVE
  3. Click on the downstroke in the CLIP region to finesse the shot with PUSH or DRAW.

  1. Click in the SPIN region to start the upstroke with BACK or top spin
  2. Click on the upstroke to select the POWER level of the shot. Clicking in the red region adds OVERDRIVE
  3. Click on the downstroke in the CLIP region to finesse the shot with PUSH or DRAW.
